The first three months of the year have felt both fast and slow, despite actually having less stuff going on, I’ve still felt super busy. I really haven’t felt like reading or doing this blog.
Life check-in
So my partner has moved in with me (yay!) and this has meant I’m home at the weekend, which should have made me slow down more but… in a typically me fashion, I ended up over scheduling things and doing too many things. I was doing so well with slowing down before Christmas but it all went out the window since then, this was the first weekend I’ve just chilled at home.
I dunno what to tell you as things are actually really good right now but I’ve been super burnt out! But I’ve been eating ‘proper’ food, exercising regularly and getting to see my friends more, I think I just need to go back to consciously making time for breaks.
Writing check-in
So many ideas… so little time. Nothing to report at the moment, sadly.
Reading check-in
Overall, I’ve read 16 books, so if I’m aiming for 100 books again, it’s currently not looking good!
Let’s break it down with the Storygraph stats:
(Ignore the minutes listened counter, it’s not accurate atm)

If you care to follow me on Storygraph so you can see what I’m reading before the review appears on the blog, here is a link to my account.
I was also doing some other challenges on Storygraph:
I’ve read one of the five non-fiction books in my goals.
and 1 book in the 25 in 25 challenge!
Not much progress on the others but hey, it’s early in the year.
There you go, if you care to read these posts, I have no idea why, but I’m grateful you are here! I hope you are all having a good year.
