Life check in

If you are one of my lovely rare regular readers, you may have noticed I’ve been on a little bit of a break from posting, besides my indie spotlight features. Well, I promise it was for a great reason, I have moved! I am now living with my partner in my own place!

I’m in a lovely house and I’ve been doing lots of relaxing besides all the unpacking, so it’ll pay off in more time and creative energy for this blog eventually.

So yeah, life is good and all signs point to things slowing down a little, which I am happily embracing.

Writing check in

I recently made a rather self-pitying post on Tiktok about writing and imposter syndrome, a the flood of helpful and kind comments were largely on the theme of ‘just do it, you won’t regret it’, so you know what? I will.

Reading check in

Overall, I’ve read 34 books, so that 100 books goal is looking a liiiitle unlikely but I’ve already been reading loads more since we settled into the house, so you never know.

Reading challenges:

I’ve read 2 books out of 20 for 500+ pages book challenge

3 books out of 5 for non-fiction book challenges

7 books out of 25 for the 25 in 25 physical tbr
