This is a regular feature, where I shine a light on an indie/ small print/ debut author who has submitted their details to me on the Indie spotlight page.
So, let’s get started with today’s spotlight:
Indie spotlight: DMR
About DMR:
Hello, I am DMR and I write stories about characters who would not stop complaining about their traumatic pasts.

Mary Immaculate Institution – DMR
She knew nothing about her life, not even her name.
Cabinet Eight had lived in the Mary Immaculate Institution for as long as she could remember. She was one of the better patients, never disobeying the nurses or breaking any rules, never even
looking up at her fellow institute members.

She ate her daily vitamin pills and tried her best to keep her head down. That was until she met her – the nutjob of the institute. Cabinet Four, her laughter spelled insanity and her eyes screamed danger.
Cabinet Eight preferred her undisturbed life of solitude in the
institute. She knew what getting mixed up with the wrong
crowd would do to her. Everyone in the institute had been made
witness to Cabinet Ten’s execution.
Then there was the captivating boy with different colours in each
eye who she couldn’t get out of her mind.
With her growing, uncontrollable abilities, would Cabinet Eight be able to stay out of trouble or would she finally break out of her prison and find something she had lost? Maybe a previous
life? Or perhaps, people who loved her?
