Dawn of Ragnarok – Celine Damsgaard

Among ruins and grease on the floating islands in Midgard, Røskva struggles to survive with the remaining Vanes. Through the technology left by mankind she and her family survive by selling fuel and moving cargo on the dock.

At seventeen, all Røskva wants is to be a mechanic and make her own money, but her father has her man their fuel station every night, leaving her too tired to work on her own business.

On top of that, all her income goes to the family, including her lazy brother, Tjalfe. So, when the Asgardian chief docks with a ship adorned with silver, the temptation is too great – she steals a piece, but Tjalfe rats her out!

With nothing of value to offer, Røskva has to serve the chief to repay her debt. Crossing the Bifrost, he takes her to Asgard where the skies are clear and food is abundant. But when dragons roam and the world starts to crumble, the price is high for one little Vane in a fight between giants and gods.
