So, considering the year I was about to have, I made some lofty goals for 2025 and although I didn’t hit them, I think I did pretty good, all things considered.
This year I read 70 books, 40 of which were book-books and the rest were audio.
My goal was 100 again with half being physical or digital books but since I did move this year to my own place for the first time, I think I can give myself a little grace for falling short! Plus, I usually burn through a few books on holiday but I only took the one trip this year.
The other challenges I took part in on Storygraph were:

Read 5 non-fiction books: I read all 5!
Read 20 books with 500+ pages: I read 4 out of the 20 books I hoped to read (oops)
Read 1 book with 1000 pages: Did not achieve… oops again

I don’t what it says about my year that the first and last book are very different ends of the spectrum… but I also think it captures the vibe very well.
