Who would these services benefit?
I really want to help small businesses or charities, who don’t have the time, funds or the experience in the marketing basics that we all have to do these days to be found online.
Small changes (which would mean a small expense!) can make a big difference to a small business, charity or service – from posting often enough on your social media to be visible, to making it easier for people to find you on Google.
These freelance services would be in addition to my full-time work at first, which will limit the number of hours available and is one of the reasons I may not be suitable to a larger business.

Social Media
From writing and scheduling posts (content), to ensuring proper page set-up.
- This can be on a rolling basis with an agreed number of posts per month, or for a specific, one-off, campaign.
Website content
I can simply write content, or I can assist with the formatting and publishing process. I have used many different types of CMS platforms but I am especially familiar with WordPress.
This could look like:
- Blogs – writing, formatting and posting
- Text for pages on your site (homepage, about us, our services/ business etc)
- Product or service descriptions
Basic SEO assistance
SEO is all about helping people find you when they do a Google search, by using the right words and phrases.
This could look like:
- Basic SEO optimisations – ideal for someone who cannot afford or does not need agency level help
– Optimising titles
– Optimising text on pages - Advice, ideas, planning or content creation for additional ways to help you show up in searches and appear knowledgeable and trustworthy.
- Google my business profile set-up & maintenance
Email communications
Whether you need help with a monthly newsletter, event emails or automated flows/ campaign set-up.
This could look like:
- Writing, formatting and scheduling emails
- Planning and setting up automations – for example, reactivating customer’s who haven’t bought in a while, automated responses to enquiry forms etc (you would need an CRM platform that enables these services)
Fees
It is entirely possible that you would need help across a range of these services, or need to adjust how much help is needed on an ad hoc basis.
As such, we would need to have quick chat first to discuss what this may look like for you and price accordingly.
