Two Necromancers, a Dragon, and a Vampire

My 19th book of the year was Two Necromancers, a Dragon, and a Vampire by L.G.Estrella. The third book in the Unconventional Heroes series.

Read my review of book 1 and 2 here.

A summary attempt

At the end of book 2, the pyromaniac elf has managed to walk away with a dragons egg. Most dragon breeders done survive all that long but a virtually fire proof Elf is a perfect surrogate mother. Although the idea of the Elf having her own dragon makes both the necromancer, Timmy, and their Bureaucrat, Gerald, very nervous. They both can’t deny it’d be handy to have a friendly dragon on the team. Their next mission has been served by the council: they must break into one of the worst prisons in the world to rescue a vampire that could take down Everton with the secrets she holds. After that mission, they are promptly dispatched to stop Everton’s enemy: the eternal empire, from gaining a deadly weapon. So the team, including their new vampire and dragon, set out to stop that from happening, so that Everton isn’t implicated and war doesn’t break out. This is one of their hardest missions yet, but the Eternal Empire don’t know what’s coming for them: Timmy, his niece year old apprentice Katy, the ninja rats, old man, the elf, the dragon, their zombies and of course, their bureaucrat.
